Like you, I hate tyranny in all its ugly forms.  The founding fathers made sure that our system would enable us to resist tyrrants. But for their system to work, each branch of government has to be checked by the other branches. That’s not happening, and it is also why we see the people rising up to protest an overactive Presidency and a flacid Congress. I believe that the ultimate form of protest is to run against a member of Congress and thus be a part of the solution. If you aren’t running yourself, I invite you to help me remove part of the problem and replace it with someone who is ready to represent a Red State District like SC-4. I believe I am qualified by experience, knowledge and education to be the solid social and fiscal conservative Congresswoman we need to protect our values and influence the rest of our SC delegation to stand up for our principles - the principles that made America great. Even if you can’t vote for me, I can vote for you and your values.

Happy Thanksgiving!

When we were children, we learned about the first Thanksgiving, about how the pilgrims celebrated their first good harvest in 1623, just three years after landing and how they invited the friendly Indians to join them.

Now that we are grown, we should reflect again on this heritage and being older and wiser, we should consider well, the rest of the story.

Our forefathers not only left religious oppression, they also left a civilization, a good civilization, but one that was less perfect than what they hoped to found.

These were not the huddled masses longing to be free - those poor souls would be welcomed later. No, the pilgrims were professionals, educated people of England’s emerging middle class.

While the Virginia colonies were suffering, unable to recruit new colonists, and lacking in people capable of survival in the wilderness, the pilgrims planned ahead. They acquired investors, so they could properly equip and provision themselves to survive. They tried farming in common, as the investors wished, but abandoned socialism when it did not work. Americans have never embraced socialism since.

But they did not come for economic advancement - they were leaving European comforts and financial success.  There was little chance they would soon become comfortable, much less wealthy in the wilderness toward which they sailed. No, not money, but the chance to rule themselves was what drew them from kith and kin. Unlike the middle class of today, they were cheerfully political. Why?  Because it is God’s will that we govern ourselves. The British government was glad to see them go.

Their first act, one of the first political acts in the New World, was committed even before they landed in North America. The Mayflower Compact, signed by 41 men aboard the Mayflower in what is now called Provincetown Harbor near Cape Cod said in part:

….Having undertaken, for the Glory of God and advancement of the Christian Faith and Honour of our King and Country, a Voyage to plant the First Colony in the Northern Parts of  Virginia , do by these presents solemnly and mutually in the presence of God and one of another, Covenant and Combine ourselves together into a Civil Body Politic, for our better ordering and preservation and furtherance of the ends aforesaid; and by virtue hereof to enact, constitute and frame such just and equal Laws…

And so they did.  We should be thankful for this example and for the direction it has given to our country.

Wishing you a very Happy (and reflective) Thanksgiving,

Christina, Robert and Marjorie Jeffrey

In the 4th dist U. S Congress race we have a few choices and then there is the same old thing, Bob Inglis. I feel Bob Inglis need to return home as he is not showing any conservative ideas and his lack of understanding the folks in the upstate we are conservatives. We have two choices to replace Bob Inglis with a conservative candidate Christina Jeffrey or Jim Lee as the rest are not even Republicans. However I see only one of them with the experience and education to serve in Congress. Every votes counts and more important each vote matters and we need someone that will follow the Constitution and not what the leaders think. When a patriot has a chance to vote for a well qualified candidate that is schooled in the Constitution we will all win with her vote. I see Christina Jeffrey as the best choice to replace Bob Inglis and as one that will follow the Republican Party platform not just following the Republican Party. I like others are watching in New York Dist 23 and the Republican Party is wrong for supporting the RINO and not picking the best person for the job. I would like to see the best person in South Carolina Congress Dist 4 seat and Christina Jeffrey wins hands down.

So let’s not pick someone because they are almost a Republican as some of the folks running say they are , but we need to pick a true Conservative Thanks for stepping up to the plate Dr. Jeffrey

GREENVILLE/SPARTANBURG -- Christina Jeffrey, Republican candidate for Congress in South Carolina’s 4th Congressional District (Greenville/Spartanburg), today expressed appreciation to the Republican delegation for voting against the Health Care Bill. It passed the House with 219 Democrats voting “yes” while 39 brave Democrats defied the Speaker and voted “no”. 176 Republicans voted “no” and one voted “yes”.

Dr. Jeffrey observed that:

“The bill passed last night will cause the typical family of 4 with $105,000 per year in income to spend 20% of its pre-tax income on medical care. An individual making $44,000 per year will spend over 17% on health care. There are serious penalties in the bill for not buying health insurance but these do not apply to illegal immigrants. Legal immigrants will have to pay. This is just one more incentive to come to the United States illegally.

“There are huge Constitutional questions raised by this bill. For example, where in the Constitution does Congress get the authority to make us buy anything? Another constitutional question that dovetails with that one is can we be forbidden to make private contracts for service with a doctor?

“Every member takes an oath to uphold the Constitution, not punt all hard questions over to the Supreme Court. When members of the House vote for a bill knowing there is no authority in the Constitution that permits passage, they violate their oath. In 2010, we should fire them and replace them with honest men and women who will not betray our Constitution and our freedom.”

Letter from Christina Jeffrey to Larry Bateman  West View-B Republican Precinct Party

Please read all of this and decide what you think about the way the Republican Candidates can amend their promises to uphold the views of the Republican platform that they have taken.  Sounds like more of the same that we already have.  ie., Inglis and Graham?

Dear Larry,

From your invitation, I see you have Trey Gowdy and GeorgeRamsey@TreyGowdy.com on your list of dignitaries to the next Westview B precinct event. Does this mean you still consider Mr. Gowdy a Republican candidate?  My question does not go to the issue of whether he can legally run as a Republican.  As far as I know, anyone who pays the filing fee can run in this state in the Republican Party. (Fortunately, this is not true in all states- some have standards for candidates.)

You have candidates sign oaths that they will support the State and National platforms  of our Party before being permitted to speak at Westview B.  Is it not your intention to hold us to our oaths? It seems an applaudable effort to enforce Party discipline at the precinct level.  You can't imagine how it heartened me to be asked to sign that pledge -- a precinct standing in the gap, helping to make the Party better, from the precinct level! Wow-- that's the way to do it!

But is there in fact, no penalty imposed on candidates by your precinct, if we fail to uphold the SC Republican Platform? Just to refresh your memory, Trey Gowdy swore to uphold the National and State Republican platforms in front of you and the entire precinct. Precinct members then politely grilled him on issues of concern to Republicans, as they do all the candidates. When he was found to hold views contrary to the platform, most particularly on school choice, he did not say he would study the issue, he said he would have to amend his promise.

Does Trey still intend to run as a candidate who disagrees with the platform? Or have you convinced him to join the Party?  If so, this would make a nice press release or at least a good thing to let the folks know who were in the room and heard him part ways with the Republican Party.

Do you not agree that it is important whether an individual candidate supports the Party platforms on which people think they are running?  In fact, it is becoming very important to the "Forgotten men and women", the Party faithful in the precincts who are asked to support candidates for office. And it is important to the Party.  People want truth in advertising. They want Republicans who believe what Republicans believe, not what unions and trial lawyers believe.

Look at NY-23. A third party candidate may win because the leadership of the NY GOP nominated a candidate who does not support Republican principles.

Personally, I oppose the formation of third parties - always have. I'm a life-long Republican because I believe the purpose of a party is to select and elect candidates.  If there are enough people to win with a third party, then there should be enough to reform the one we have and reform is more efficient than the creation of third parties. I am too fiscally conservative to waste my money starting a third party.

However, if my Party doesn't see the writing on the wall this year, the Party will push the formation of a third party that can win, like we see happening in New York right now. The country is more important than any political party, therefore, Doug Hoffman should win. Really strong precincts, producing really strong Executive Committees, producing strong leadership, can prevent what is happening in NY from happening in SC.  But it all starts in the precincts.

So I applaud Westview B, but urge you to follow through. If taking the oath is not a stunt, then failing to uphold it should matter, at least in Westview B.

Make no mistake, taking firm stands and refusing to go along to get along will not always be fun, but it is the right thing to do.

Therefore, I challenge Westview B, the best precinct in South Carolina, to support the Platforms they have candidates sign, by insisting that only candidates who uphold their pledges and run as Real Republicans deserve the support of the men and women of Westview B.

I also challenge the the County chairmen and the State Chairman to stand by the Party platform and uphold it for the good of the Party and our beloved country.

Sincerely,

Christina Jeffrey

The Real Lie Machine
by
Christina Jeffrey
Boiling Springs Tea Party Organizer

An article title “The Lie Machine” in the latest Rolling Stone magazine is interesting because it shows how the defenders of the current regime spin the outpouring of protest against the health care bill, to wit, "it's orchestrated and paid for by the vast rightwing conspiracy.”

I went to a half dozen town hall meetings on my own, before there were any emails encouraging me to go. Those came after the fact. FreedomWorks did not create or lead the counter-revolution; they jumped on board when they saw what was happening. Most people went to the town hall meetings out of concern about what's happening in DC. If they linked up with the tea party movement, it was out of the same concern. These people were largely uninvolved prior to January 2009. FreedomWorks and other conservative organizations did not have them on lists. This is a genuine counter-revolution. The left is in denial.

I also don't buy what appears to be a moral and tactical equivalence between the largely spontaneous turn out at town hall meetings and ACORN. The town halls and ACORN disruptions involve large numbers of people and cost money to coordinate - true, but let us note the significant differences.

1) A shout out is not a shout down. Those who yell out at a meeting because they cannot otherwise be heard or because the Congressman is ignoring the elephant in the room and talking nonsense instead of issues, are NOT trying to shut him up; they are trying to get him to talk. BIG DIFFERENCE.

2) The people at the Town Halls were volunteers and patriots - ACORN pays transportation and stipends for people to riot.

3) No laws are broken by town hall attendees-these are God fearing, law-abiding people. It is not against the law to petition the government, even if it means shouting out a question - reporters do it all the time!

4) No trash is left behind by town hall attendees. Over a million people marched and rallied in DC on 9-12 and left no trash. This is a record. ACORN makes a mess of everything it touches.

5) The people at the town hall meetings want government to work; ACORN is trained to throw sand in the wheels and bring it to a halt so that it can be redesigned with their masters in charge.

Serious differences!

I need the help of all American Patriots! Please read below and help me drive the message home to Glenn Beck!

Why Glen Beck should endorse me!

Poor Bob Inglis, the incumbent (suffering from the Stockholm syndrome) endorsed censoring Joe Wilson;
Thomas Inglis (AKA David Thomas) voted against Mark Sanford's efforts to avoid taking the stimulus money, and
Gowdy Inglis (aka Trey Gowdy) was an Inglis and Graham supporter until the day he announced for the Inglis seat.
Glen Beck just said he's thinking of endorsing an opponent to Inglis.
He should endorse a Tea Party Patriot! Please tell him to endorse me.
Thought you should know that State Sen David Thomas (SC), whom you interviewed today, cast the deciding vote a few months back in forcing Gov Mark Sanford to accept the tainted, heavily string-attached bailout money he was tryng to refuse.
When I e-mailed Thomas (who happens to be my senator) calling him to task, he sent me a totally incoherent, gobbledegook "explanation," one I'll be happy to provide. David Thomas is no one I could ever vote for - for any office- again.
His entry into the Inglis race merely crowds a GOP primary field that already includes a fabulous, Michlele Bachman-style candidate in Christina Jeffrey, and thereby enhances RINO Inglis's chances of holding his seat.
You need to interview Christina Jeffrey. America's Independent Party (Dr Alan Keyes' party) you need to interview him as well. Dr Keyes has already has endorsed Christina Jeffrey, and she's 100% pure, unlike RINO #2 David Thomas.

Dear All,

Helen Smith has forward a beautiful message and a necessary one.

The Muslims in America are the ones we can reach and should reach. Truth be told, if Muslims begin converting by the thousands, what would that say to the Muslin world? If those who live cheek to cheek with Christians find our religion and culture to be attractive and want it for themselves, we could strike a fatal blow to Islam. "Love thy enemy" and he may become your friend. Just don't take it too far and become one of them, or water down your culture in the effort to be friends. Speaking at a Constitution Week Celebration yesterday, someone said the Prime Minister of Australia has issued a welcome to people of all cultures and languages to come to Australia, but, he also said, they should not come if they hate Australian mores and the English language. Don't try to change us, he said, just don't come if you are not willing to accept the country we love. This is a paraphrase of a paraphrase-and if correct, is an excellent approach. Old Europe is turning itself inside-out trying to accomodate its Muslim populations. I'm sure the Muslims, who are a tough people, do not admire an majority with so little love for or confidence in its own culture.

............................................................................................................

Following is a letter from a friend who ministers in a Muslim country.  I appreciate his opinion on the September 25th. prayer-march.  I have asked his permission to share his insights with all of you, and he has given the permission, but asked that I not include his name for obvious security reasons.
Please consider reading this, and praying for the Muslims, and for our United States of America.

Blessings,
Helen

............................................................................................................

Today, I received an email from a long-time friend about the plan of 50,000 Muslims to march on Capitol Hill scheduled for September 25. These are Muslims who live in America. You can read about it at the website address given at the end of this letter. However, before you do. Will you let me give you my take on it?  My friend's email asked, "What do you think about all this? How would you encourage us to pray?"

This march is obviously a clever attempt to advertise Islam in America, and to try to legitimatize it by identifying with the Capitol of our country. It is intended to portray them as neighbors in the American pool of pluralism, and to distract from the too typical view of Muslims as terrorists. Muslims are coming out of the closet!

"What do you think about all this? How would you encourage us to pray?" It is a wake-up call for American Christians, a time to take action! Some people may angrily protest the march, gaining little more than the label of "racist" that seems to be in the air right now. Others may actually learn to follow Jesus Christ in it. His Father said,

"I will put my Spirit on him and he will bring justice to the nations. . . He will not shout or cry out, or raise his voice in the streets . . . he will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth." Isaiah 42:1-4

The Spirit the Lord and of prayer is stronger than the anger of protest. There is no need to grow discouraged.

Let me tell you how I believe we need to respond to this wake-up call, and why.

Those who know me realize I have long said that Islam is probably the largest and strongest spiritual stronghold in the world today. The only major world religion to arise since Christianity began, it was specifically designed to negate and disallow the claims of Christ as the Son of the Living God and the only Savior of the world. Adherents of Islam number between 1.3 billion and 1.8 billion. Groups which self-identify as part of Christianity number more than 2 billion.

Muslims also constitute the largest group of un-reached people on earth today. They are difficult to reach, chiefly because their homelands are insulated against Christian mission; few missionaries are able to go there. However, they may also be the largest group of un-reached people on earth today because many Christians historically have not tried, and are not yet trying, to reach them. Christians have used the excuse that "We are not allowed to send missionaries there."  Also, because their religion is hostile toward Christianity, we have often regarded them as enemies. Consequently, we have generally avoided, opposed, and even disliked those whom Jesus came to save.

After all, who wants to see his enemies go to heaven?

Well, Jesus did! ". . . when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son . . ." Romans 5:10.  This was the same Jesus who said, "I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:44, 45

What does this "wake-up call mean? It means we can love those whom we have labeled enemies, and we can reach them now without going to some remote desert land! Muslims are coming out of the closet; they are here!            God has brought significant numbers of this un-reached group of people to our neighborhoods and to our nation!

This WAKE-UP CALL is a call to pray for and to reach out to Muslims in the Spirit of Christ as never before! They are now our neighbors; if we can't love our enemies, maybe we can learn to love our neighbors! Remember, people are not our enemies; our fight is with spiritual rulers in heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 Call a fast on September 25. Pray that Muslims will be visited by the Holy Spirit and in dreams during their visit to Washington. Muslims are captives of that Islamic religious stronghold. But Jesus came to release the captives. Pray that God will neutralize the spiritual powers behind Islam, and that He will awaken the Church to obey the commands of Christ!

Good news! We no longer need a latitude change to reach them; now we simply need an attitude change!

My wife and I have lived for three years in a Muslim country. We were two of about twenty Believers in a city of 400,000. We know what it's like to be the foreigner, the outsider, the one whose culture and faith doesn't fit with anything around us. It is a lonely and confusing experience, and it can easily tempt you to resent those around you.

However, our own approach in the Muslim world is bridge-building, not demonizing. Put very simply, bridge-building goes something like this:  "So, you are a Muslim? ("Muslim' means "surrendered to God." )  Well, I also try to live my life in surrender to God. We may have a lot in common. Why don't we sit down, have coffee, and talk about it?"   We must learn to build a relationship as a bridge for the Gospel! Is it easy? No. But it's absolutely necessary! Friends don't let friends miss God! If you begin the conversation by condemning Mohammed or attacking their religion, they probably will miss God. Your Christ-like friendship could make all the difference!

OK! So "What do you think about all this? How would you encourage us to pray?"

Begin by praying for your Muslim neighbors. Unless you live in Bumjump, South Dakota, you have someone in your town who is a Muslim. He may own the nearest Moroccan restaurant, or he delivers pizza to your door. Think about it: You probably saw a Muslim woman this week in the grocery store. You know, the differently-dressed one with the head covering. Several young Muslim men are probably enrolled in your nearby community college. If you don't know who they are, it may be because you have not looked for or asked about them. My daughter has signed up to help teach English to internationals in a nearby church-sponsored ESL (English as Second Language) course; some of them will likely be Muslims. She has often had tea with a Muslim woman friend whom she met in a summer extension of that course. She has only lived in that city a few months. You can do it too; you can befriend a Muslim!

If you are too intimidated to talk to them, pray for them! You can do that now! The amazing results seen in recent years among the un-reached people groups in the 10/40 Window is the result of thousands who were mobilized to pray for that part of the world in the "90's."  Why did they begin to pray? Because they took time to read a book called Operation World or perhaps another book on the list below. They realized that we have a responsibility to reach every tribe, tongue, people and nation as part of the Great Commission which, by the way, was a command to each and all of us. They realized they could begin where they were - by praying!  If you will pray for the Muslims in your community, God will give you a Muslim friend, and that's where you must start! Have tea or dinner with them a few times, and you will probably have an easy opportunity to talk about your personal faith in Jesus Christ.

Look! The Muslims in your city are serious enough to climb on a bus and ride all the way to Washington DC. Let's be at least as serious as they are. DO SOMETHING! Pray, go to a Middle Eastern restaurant, smile - maybe even speak to the lady with the head covering in the grocery store. You don't know what to say? Ask them where they are from and what it is like there; listen and pray! Take an interest in them. Look up their country in your Atlas or on the Internet. Read about it so you will have something meaningful to say or ask the next time you see them. Make a friend!

Build a bridge of relationship, be a friend, love your neighbor, forgive your enemies, be a Christian!

I suggest that you DO NOT protest the new mosque in your town, DO NOT take a sign to Washington DC denouncing all Muslims as terrorists, and DO NOT send an email to all your friends telling them to pray AGAINST Muslims in the Capitol.   For God's sake, PRAY FOR THEM! Don't react; respond! Don't be against people; be FOR THEM.

Well, my friend, that's what I think you should do and pray. I hope it helps. Thanks for reading this!

Another plan?

SC-4’s  member of congress   is introducing a new plan for universal health care - not only are there problems with his plan but this is the worst possible time to propose any change in our  health care system  .

His premise, to wit, that this is the time to get something done about health care is deeply flawed. He is playing into the dangerous hands of
Nancy Pelosi   and  Barack Obama  . Now is not the time to let the Democrats screw up our health care system. Bob does not have the votes to do anything helpful -

Instead, this is the time to oppose Obamaism in all its many manifestations because Obamaism is not about helping the economy, finding jobs, insuring all fairly, improving education, safe-guarding our borders, respecting pro-lifers, etc., etc.

No, it’s all about CONTROL, POWER, and MONEY-money for rewarding friends and punishing enemies. Bob doesn’t know it, but he’s one of the enemies - he thinks we can all just get along. Poor Bob.

If you want to help defeat  Bob Inglis  , Thomas Inglis and Gowdy Inglis, all conventional politicians without a serious clue, then help me with your most generous donation before the FEC filing deadline  on Sept. 30  .

What we really don't need - another big government plan!

This is the time to oppose Obamaism in all its many manifestations because Obamaism is not about insuring all fairly, denying illegals a free ride or respecting the views of pro-lifers. Nor does Obamism have the least interest in improving education, safe-guarding our borders,  stimulating the economy  , making more energy, or helping people to find jobs...or anything good for ordinary people.

No, it’s all about CONTROL, POWER, and MONEY-money for rewarding friends and punishing enemies. Bob doesn’t know it, but he’s one of those enemies - he thinks we can all just get along. Poor Bob. The obamaists would destroy society in order to save it. Bob doesn't see that.

Bob enthusiastically supported TARP and all the other stimulus bills except the last one which was opposed by 100% of his Party. Bob cast the deciding vote against protecting "Under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance when he was a member of the

powerful Judiciary Committee. Instead of this poor representative, you can help elect a good influence on the delegation and

one who won't let our  GOP   guys give into pressure from leaders without compasses. A conservative state deserves conservative representation!

P.S. If you want to read my opponent's plan - here's the link; http://www.inglisforcongress.com/share-ideas/ Notice it calls for community rating - a bad idea because it rewards the irresponsible and makes society accountable, not the individual. Most of us do not want society telling us what we should eat; and those of us who eat right, don't want to pay more for our insurance to cover those who insist on doing what they feel like, regardless of the health consequences.

P.P.S. Bob's plan also insists of universal coverage. However, the truth is that no one in real need can be turned away from our
emergency rooms  . When I am elected, I will support a Republican bill based on the Republican platform. (Note, the Republican platform is routinely passed every four years by conservative grassroots delegates and just as routinely ignored by most of the Party's nominees. This has been the case since Ronald Reagan left office.

Jeffrey Denounces Inglis for Supporting ‘Political Theater’

GREENVILLE/SPARTANBURG -- Christina Jeffrey, Republican candidate for Congress in South Carolina’s 4th Congressional District (Greenville/Spartanburg), has sharply criticized Congressman Bob Inglis for once again siding with the Democrats in supporting a resolution condemning Congressman Joe Wilson.

Jeffrey points out “this was the first such resolution in over twenty years, and all but 7 Republicans refused to aid and abet the Democrats’ highly partisan political theater.” Jeffrey adds that while Bob Inglis and the Democrats were ignoring the urgent business of the American people, they also moved to kill an investigation of serious, criminal allegations that Representative Jesse Jackson, Jr. may have attempted to buy a United States Senate seat.

According to Jeffrey, “Bob Inglis has not only lost touch with the people of the 4th Congressional District; he has become openly hostile to their values.”

Jeffrey, a Constitutional scholar, professor at Wofford College, mother of five and grandmother of eight, notes that “Inglis has provided Democrats with the key vote needed to deny protection to “Under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance, has voted for corporate bailouts, opposes the exploration and drilling for oil in US waters, and has told constituents to ‘turn off Glenn Beck,’ while also criticizing conservative icons like Sean Hannity and Pat Buchanan.”

Christina Jeffrey announced her candidacy earlier this year. She is committed to restoring respect for the United States Constitution, decentralized government, states’ rights, and individual liberty.

Calls on Congress, Education Leaders and Parents to Resist

GREENVILLE/SPARTANBURG -- Christina Jeffrey, Republican candidate for Congress in South Carolina’s 4th Congressional District (Greenville/Spartanburg), today called President Obama’s planned address to the nation’s schoolchildren an “unprecedented and unconstitutional politicization of America’s schools.”  Jeffrey called on state and local education officials and parents to “deny President Obama the opportunity to propagandize and recruit junior lobbyists for his agenda among elementary and high school students.”

“Our public schools are not agents of the federal government,’ said Jeffrey, “they are the responsibility of the states, and are more properly seen as the agents of parents, who are their children’s first and most important teachers.”

Jeffrey, a Constitutional scholar, professor at Wofford College, mother of five and grandmother of eight, notes that “as the politicization, centralization and governmental uniformity in public schools has grown over the past century, student achievement in mathematics, language arts, science and history has declined.  America ranks at the bottom of industrialized nations in mathematics and science,” notes Jeffrey.  “Political stunts exacerbate the problem and are offensive to all caring Americans.  We do not need more government meddling in schools; we need much less.”

“Government mandates have reduced time needed to master basic skills,” said Jeffrey.  “The President’s message to children not only reduces time needed for reading, math and grammar, it sends the wrong message that the federal government, much less the President of the United States, has a role in America’s schools.”

The Honorable Bob Inglis “SC-4”
100 CHOB
Washington, D.C.

September 11, 2009

Dear Bob:

On behalf of the Boiling Springs Tea party group (See us in the March, 9-12), a wonderful group of fine upstanding citizens from Spartanburg and environs, but thoroughly tea’d and unwilling to take it anymore, I am asking you to please, in these difficult times, make representing us your highest priority.

We have only one representative for our views where there should be 3. You have spent enough time in our midst to know that we are conservative and proud to be conservative. We want our conservative views represented.

If you were really representing us, you would not stress accommodating and working with Democrats over working with Republicans. If you were really representing us, you would not affect a cavalier attitude toward our Constitution, our immigration laws, and our desire to see health care improved for ourselves and our children. We do not believe that socialism will do any good for any of us. Frankly, Bob, we love nature, we want it preserved for our children and grandchildren,

but they need warmth in the winter and cool air in the summer - therefore, we want this country to drill, baby, drill wherever reasonable.

Finally, we have heard more condemnations of conservatives than we have heard about the outrages of this administration such as the recent Presidential address to the children in the style of “The Great Leader.” Meanwhile, we have out of control spending in DC and government in the hands of unelected, un-vetted, unaccountable and generally unqualified commissars reporting to THE CZAR, Mr. Obama.

You have been in DC for years - what were you doing to stop the spending, and now that you can’t stop it, what are you doing to at least slow it down?

Yours,

Dr. Christina Jeffrey

Candidate of Congress, SC-4

PS: Bob, today is September 11th. What are you doing to make us safer?
