Mission Statement

The mission of the Boiling Springs Tea Party group is to return our country to the principles of the Founders and to renew our Faith in God, Country & Family.

The Silent Majority – Silent No More  

It is our RIGHT & RESPONSIBILITY to act now.

l. Limited Government:  As our Founding Fathers recognized, restraint of government is necessary to protect the liberties of the people. 

Open And Transparent Government as envisioned by the Founder Fathers who believed that government is necessary to protect the liberties of the people. 

2. Fiscal Responsibility – Government at all levels must learn to live within its means.  To saddle future generations with the crushing burden of our excess spending is unconscionable. 

3. Personal Responsibility – Liberty is unsustainable without responsibility.  Each citizen must take responsibility for the consequences of his or her own actions while respecting the rights and dignity of others. 

4. The Rule of Law – We understand that our rights are God-given and protected by our  Constitution.  Our Constitution is the “Highest Man Made Law” of the land.  The rule of law must be consistent, independent, and uniform in its application which is critical to a free and prosperous society. 

5. National Sovereignty – We must maintain a strong national defense, effective security for our borders, and sole control over our land and our laws resisting all governing from the outside. 

6. State Sovereignty – The tenth Amendment was adopted to emphasize the fact that the states remain individual and unique sovereignties; that they were empowered in areas that the Constitution did not delegate to the federal government.  With this in mind, any federal attempt to legislate beyond the Constitutional limits of Congress’ authority is a usurpation of state sovereignty and rendered unconstitutional.  

7. Individual Rights – Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.  

STAND FOR SOMETHING…OR FALL FOR ANYTHING 

If you agree with these principles unite your voice with ours as we unite our voice with others throughout this great nation to make ONE VOICE that is saying enough already, stop the madness, we are taking our country back…We the People have spoken.

Reinforce to others that they are not alone, that there are many of us right here in the Upstate that think and feel the same way regarding  America’s direction. Awaken friends, neighbors, and work associates as to the re-shaping taking place in America.  Don’t remain silent…don’t be inactive…you have a voice.  

It is our wish that this website serve as a link to thousands of like minded individuals in our community and abroad. That it serve to inform and equip you for service to others and that it provide you with some of the tools that are needed to check up on our elected representatives. Do they represent you with their votes? If not, with one voice let’s send them home. Whether it is your School Board, City or County Council, State or United States Representatives, insure that they are doing the job you hired them to do, being responsible with your hard earned money and not just using it to buy votes with irresponsible spending.

We are recruiting ground soldiers for the upcoming elections beginning in November 2009. It is critical that we replace those in government who are pursuing self-interest or catering to special interest and do not have the best interest of the people as provided by our SC and US constitutions. Tea Party Patriots must become known as PRIMARY VOTERS and GROUND SOLDIERS during any and all election cycles!

2 – Vet Candidates & recommend to the Tea Party members 

3 – Work for Paper Ballots 

4 – Work for School Choice 

5 – Monitor state, local and federal issues as they come up.
